ABOUT US
CHCCA | Canadian-Haitian Community Care Alliance
The Canadian-Haitian Community Care Alliance (CHCCA) is a nonprofit community organization dedicated to strengthening individuals, families, and communities through support, education, cultural connection, health and wellness initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and community partnerships.
Based in Windsor, Ontario, CHCCA was created to support the Canadian-Haitian community while welcoming people from all backgrounds who believe in building a more inclusive, caring, and connected society. We celebrate the richness of Haitian culture and recognize the important role that cultural diversity plays in making Canada a stronger and more vibrant place.
Through community programs, events, partnerships, and volunteer initiatives, we work to connect people with opportunities, resources, and support that can make a meaningful difference in their lives. By working alongside community organizations, schools, healthcare providers, businesses, public institutions, and volunteers, we strive to respond to the needs of our community and create opportunities for everyone to participate, contribute, and thrive.
At CHCCA, we believe that when people come together, communities become stronger. Our commitment is to foster a welcoming environment where individuals and families can build meaningful connections, celebrate their heritage, develop their potential, and take an active role in shaping a stronger future for the Canadian-Haitian community and the wider Windsor community.
OUR FOCUS
WHAT WE DO
We provide programs, services, and initiatives designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families in the Canadian-Haitian community and the wider Windsor community. Our work spans education and learning opportunities, health and wellness, cultural programming, newcomer support, youth development, leadership, and volunteer engagement.
From helping young people build confidence and leadership skills to supporting newcomers as they navigate life in Canada, we create opportunities for people to learn, connect, participate, and grow. We also organize cultural events, educational workshops, community activities, and initiatives that promote well-being and celebrate Haitian heritage.
Through these efforts, the Canadian-Haitian Community Care Alliance (CHCCA) continues to provide meaningful community programs and support in Windsor, Ontario, helping individuals and families access opportunities, build stronger connections, and take an active role in their communities.
