One People. One Culture. One Pride
The Canadian-Haitian Community Care Alliance (CHCCA) is a Canadian nonprofit organization based in Windsor, Ontario, committed to serving the Canadian-Haitian community while welcoming and supporting individuals and families from all cultural backgrounds.
Founded on the values of compassion, unity, and service, CHCCA was created to address the needs of our community by providing meaningful programs, resources, and opportunities that promote inclusion, personal growth, and collective well-being.
Through youth programs, family support services, newcomer assistance, cultural initiatives, educational opportunities, and humanitarian efforts, we strive to create a stronger and more connected community where every individual feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Our Story
The Canadian-Haitian Community Care Alliance (CHCCA) was established with a simple but meaningful purpose: to create a strong and lasting foundation for the Canadian-Haitian community in Windsor, Ontario. While many cultural groups benefit from organizations that preserve their heritage, provide support, and create opportunities for connection, we recognized that there was no dedicated nonprofit serving the unique needs and aspirations of the Haitian community in our region.
Motivated by this opportunity, we created CHCCA as a place where people can connect, learn, and grow together while celebrating the rich traditions, values, and contributions of Haitian culture. Our organization works to strengthen lives through educational initiatives, youth and family programs, cultural activities, newcomer support, and partnerships that encourage active participation in community life.
As our organization continues to grow, so does our commitment to building opportunities that inspire belonging, leadership, and collaboration. We believe that by investing in people, encouraging cultural pride, and promoting meaningful engagement, we can help create a more inclusive, vibrant, and connected Windsor-Essex for current and future generations.
